The Event took place

The boat was booked, the food prepared, the FREE champagne raffle prize was drawn and not forgetting the THREE DJ's. What a night to remember.

Home From Home, the new charity for the the homeless and the champion fore the disadvantaged, had its first fund raising event on Saturday 19th June. Although the Viscountess boat did not leave Westminster Pier on time, the music was still playing and had the well over 115 guest relaxed. The boat was about 500metres away from the shore when 2 guests were waving on the shore line and were left stranded ashore. They certainly missed the boat.

Finally on the way food was served on the lower deck where there was a seating area for friends to eat drink and chat. The upper deck was the dancing area which was full once everyone had eaten and certainly everyone utilized it because of the time factor.

So many made this event a success and want to acknowledge them now. The caterer, Alexia Watson who provided an assortment of food which everyone commented on the culinary skills. There wasn't enough left over for a 'doggy bag'. Anyone wanting her services can email her: alexia831@btinternet.com All those who helped to serve the food: Marie, Selena and their crew without you ladies we would have had a challenge on our hands.
The 3 DJ's 'One Love Hi Tech' East London's Finest, 'Daddy Superjam Ernie', 'Solo' The Cool Entertainer.

Finally not forgetting all of the people who supported the event and PARTIED to the very end. Everyone commented on how they enjoyed the Boat Dance and wanted to know when will be the next event. Well having catered for those who weren't scared of water the next event may well be on land, but on thing's for sure it is going to be MASSIVE. So watch this space!!!!!
