Last
week my mentor took a flight to San Antonio Texas in order to work on a
BIG project which I'll share with you in a few weeks
He
was able to interview and touch base with fifteen other online
marketers, many of whom were millionaires. Would you believe that some
are still only in their 20s!!
As he listened to their stories, he noted that they had similar points in them and was able to make a list of the common things that cropped up. So I thought it would be a great idea to share these with you.

What My Mentor Learned About Millionaires
1. All of them had failures after failures before they had success.
Each
person said they had tried several different projects and opportunities
before they had success. With that most had lost money and some had
gone bankrupt with just a dime in their pocket.
2. All of them never quit but were driven to try other things again.
So
they failed but they continued. When one thing didn't work they went to
the next project or opportunity until the right one materialized for
them. All their previous disappointments were just a learning curve
leading them to success.
3. All of them had failures.
Hard
to believe isn't it? Don't think for one moment that when you reach
millionaire status every thing is "Hunky Dorry" and you have the Midas
touch. This is far from the truth. They look at failures differently to
you or I, treating it as learning experiences.
4. All of them are focused.
They
are all very hard workers and people may think that success came easy
to them, but this was not the case. Late nights and early mornings as
well as having a regular job were part of their routine before they
were successful. As well as being hard workers they had to be focused
on their goals.
5. They were not loners.
This
did not surprise me. They all had a mentor or someone to hold them
accountable or they had a team environment that they worked in before
they became successful.
Finally....
Finally....
6. All of them were ORDINARY PEOPLE!
We
tend to elevate successful people to a high level and forget that they
are just ordinary people like you and I when we meet them. There is
nothing special about them and they have problems like anyone else. They
all have life's challenges and go through the good and bad times just
like us.
The
main factor observed by my mentor though is they have a major "Mind
Shift" on how they view money and success. If this is not accomplished
then, difficulties will occur when trying to achieve this.
I was glad to share my mentor's experiences this week and look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks.
